CoEU Crisis Update 3 -"Leak connects Slovakian Government to the refugee influx issue in Hungary"

Recent information, allegedly leaked by Hungarian officials, adds fuel to the diplomatic fire between Slovakia and Hungary. After interrogation of some undocumented refugees, it seems that Slovakian state personnel was behind their attempt to cross the river. It was revealed that the border officials of Vel’ké Slemence had encouraged their attempt to continue their journey southwards towards Hungary claiming that their refugee-holding capacity had been reached. The Hungarian Foreign Ministry is expected to comment on the issue at a press conference as soon as possible. Inside sources speculate that a closing of the border is to be expected.
